Seasonal Hayfever Tea with Local Honey
Taking local raw honey in advance of and throughout the Spring or Summer helps your body's immune defense mechanisms to recognise and deal with pollens. This is particularly effective in treating children with mild to moderate allergy. London Farmers' Markets sell local honey.
In the UK, reactions to tree pollens occur mainly between March and May, wihle reactions to grass pollens begin in May and can continue until September. (Skin prick allergy testing on the NHS can help diagnose the most common types of pollens as well as allergies to inhaled dust or other common pollutants).
